The 2nd American Revolution
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal,
that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights,
that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men,
deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed,
That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends,
it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government,
laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form,
as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

There is no longer a reason or time to be silent and inactive. We The People cannot wait for someone else, some mythical hero, to rise up and be the leader that frees us from our chains. Many are awakened, but even more are yet asleep. They will remain so until they bear witness to a mass movement in the streets. That is the mission of those who have been blessed with sight and understanding: To stand firm, arms locked together in a pledge of sacred honor, coalesced around first principles, and guided by righteousness. We must march on those who oppress us to further their political and financial interests. Each and every one of us is a leader, and it is our right and our duty to restore the foundations of the United States of America.
The average American knows the economy is a sham, the politicians are all captured by lobbyists, and the mainstream media (ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, CNBC, MSNBC, etc.) are all toothless lapdogs. The sold-their-souls talking heads play their role of keeping the citizens divided so their masters, indeed, the same as our masters, can scrape power and treasure into their own hands. When was the last time you saw a politician stand up for an idea instead of a gift? When was the last time you saw a real reporter and not simply a bubble brain reading talking points from a teleprompter? When was the last time someone even remotely considered mainstream, other than Matt Taibbi, dug down into the mud to pull up some of the slime and expose it to daylight?
They, the tightly knit group of oppressors at the top, know a nation united under determination to achieve self-interest through individual liberty is not something they can control, and they fear it more than anything else. What else but fear would motivate the government to label a citizen a ”domestic terrorist” based on political beliefs, bumper stickers, or having served in the military? These tyrants are cowards and their ability to rein over us like subjects is derived solely from our propensity to be apathetic.
This apathy, coupled with a timidity induced by an inundation of police state reminders, has been allowed to fester on the back of many years of feast. But, as we enter a period of famine, the tables will undoubtedly turn. It is one thing to not be able to go out to a nice restaurant for dinner, but it’s an entirely different thing to be reliant on a handout for your dinner. And what of the startling statistic that government sponsored social benefit programs are equal to over one-third of public and private incomes? Let us put aside the psychological consequences of such generational operant conditioning (dollars for votes, meals for obedience), as there are others such as Cognitive Dissonance of Zero Hedge, who are much better suited than I to wade through these murky parts of our existence, and ponder only the precarious position our fiscal situation puts this relationship in.
According to the excellent resource, the US Debt Clock, the national debt of the United States of America is over $14 Trillion. How much is a trillion dollars? Look here (you may want to be seated before viewing). What’s worse, the Federal Government is running a budget deficit of $1.5 trillion this year. The situation does not improve much in the future either. One must logically ask, what are they doing with all of this money? See this. Some apologists for the Statist empire might argue this is not a new situation and it doesn’t matter. They will tell you the only time in the last 40 years we haven’t run a deficit was under Slick Willy Clinton, which is a lie. You are free to believe this line of thinking, that we can perjurously go on monetizing our debt, but do you really believe it? Would your credit hold up if you were borrowing 41 cents of every dollar you spent? Of course it wouldn’t.
The cold hard fact is the Federal Government is broke. According to their own estimates, by the year 2040, there will be money for interest payments on the debt and social security. Nothing else. Period. How will those 40+ million people (a number that is certain to grow) eat when there is no more free lunch? What will happen when there is no more Medicare and Medicaid? Will people continue to sit around, unfazed, drooling in a pharmaceutically prompted haze when their stomachs are grumbling? Of course not. They will rise up into the streets as the peoples of MENA and Europe are doing. There is one key, frightening difference: Militarized police, soldiers who have constantly been at war hunting for insurgents door to door, and world record citizen gun ownership. You do the math.
How did we get in this position? The treachery is long in the making. We can look at the Federal Reserve Act, or the importation of German Socialism in the early 20th Century, or many other happenings. To the point, the main culprit, the sleaze that pops up again and again, the enabler of suicidal tendencies, is the cartel of private banks known as the Federal Reserve.
These financial terrorists print toilet paper, loan it to the United States of America at interest, and the traitors in Washington allow it to be ”legal tender”. No, the issue isn’t quite that cut and dry as there are Treasuries involved and, to be fair, a majority of the interest income is paid back to the Treasury. However, one has to ask, why do we need the Federal Reserve? Why should one person control the monetary policy of the entire country? Why should this group of banksters earn any interest off of what is supposed to be our national currency? Why should the members banks of the Federal Reserve also be allowed to create money out of thin air? Why do we allow an unelected official to run a CONfidence game with something as critical as the nation’s money?
There are no good answers to those questions. In fact, the only appropriate answer is to realize the mistake and throw off this beast. There is far too much power locked up in the hands of too few people right now. They scratch each other’s backs, passing each other envelopes stuffed with the blood, sweat, and tears exerted through our labor and at the cost of the future of our children. And it is all done at the barrel of a gun. The IRS and the prison-industrial complex will not tolerate dissidents. If anyone else were to engage in such activities it would be considered extortion, if not robbery.
It’s time to say no more to infants, wives, daughters, mothers, fathers, sons and brothers being sexually assaulted to get on a plane. No longer can we sit back and watch as states like Mitch Daniel’s Indiana decide that the 4th Amendment is irrelevant. In the eyes of god or merely one’s fellow man, nobody can be judged pure and decent for remaining silent while tyrants slaughter citizens, in cold blood, for protecting their families. NO MORE!
What do we, as Americans, have if not our liberty? Nothing. History will judge us cowards, and our children will feel nothing but shame if we allow this to continue. Shame and the shackles of the debts we have saddled them with so we could live on easy street playing kick the can. Know that you are not alone. Know that there are others thinking the same exact things as you are. There are others who are ready and willing to connect with you and fight for the common good.
The 2nd American Revolution can begin June 14th, 2011 if enough people are willing to express their frustration, peacefully, and show those who fancy themselves our masters We are mad as hell and We are not to be taken lightly. The Great American Pastime; Complacency
Stuff.
That's what life is about to us; stuff.
Stuff we don't have.
Stuff we want.
Stuff we want but can't have and so we spend all our time, money, and energy into getting it.
Stuff.
But why?
Why do we need have a t.v. for almost every room in our house? The living room, the family room, our bedrooms, the basement, the "man cave".
And why do they all need to be top-of-the-line LED flatscreens? All with its own DVR?
Simple; to distract us.
To distract us from the real world.
Sitting in our "perfect" little house watching t.v., playing video games, playing with the dog, "veggin out" on the couch is not the real world.
It is a world that we hav created to please ourselves. To make ourselves feel good, and at the same time distract us from the world, to block it out.
We've made a containment unit for ourselves, our own jail cells.
Sure we "socialize"; parties, sports, clubs, youth groups.
But we do the same things there...always socializing with the same people and groups and doing the same things at the same places talking about the same things.
We think we are "livin' the good life".
But when something happens to disturbe our perfect little world we created, then we freak out.
Our car breaks down, we need a new A.C. or heater, or, god forbid, our ipod or cell phone breaks!
Or even worse! A new model of said things comes out and we are stuck with the "old" one!
We don't feel right until we replace it
And then you have the scenario where you go to some other captive soul's house and you see that they have 5 t.v.s and you only have 4!
Well then that is simply inexcusable and you must get another one, right?
Let's say you get a raise, instead of saving it for when u need it or giving back to the world and to people that need it, you do what?
You do exactly what our consumeristic society tells you do; raise your standard of living of course!
But, once you raise your standard of living, there's no going back...like a lion that's tasted human flesh, you won't go back to a lesser life style...
And that's why we have so many problems, so much debt. Because once people waste all their extra money, they can't afford their new lifestyle, so what are they supposed to do? They can't go back, absolutely not! That would be unthinkable, no, what they do is borrow.
Borrow money and things that they can't pay back.
Problem.
Complacency:
Our self-made jail cells we call reality, life...
We think it's perfect, and we want nothing to disturb it.
So when an opportunity comes that could have a real world benefit, that could help someone or some cause, we first consider whether or not it will disturb "our world". If it does then we look the other way, instead we go to the mall and buy more stuff.
More clothes.
More games.
More movies.
More things that
We.
Don't.
Need.
After all, it's the Great American Pastime
And who could pass up an opportunity like that?

My first challenge
"There is a war going on for your mind; if you are thinking, you are winning" -flobots
Have you ever stopped to think about that? Everyday everywhere you go, there is a batttle raging for control of your mind; "buy this" "eat here" "believe me" "don't believe him".
It's crazy how many people want to inhabit our minds with their ideas and beliefs.
Don't buy it.
Just because someone says something is true doesn't mean it is. You need to analyze it and find out for yourself. That's what the second part of the quote means; "if you are thinking, you are winning"
They ("they" refering to society) don't want you to think; they want you to just believe what they pump into your heads.
Prime example: school; in school, the teachers just expect you to believe whatever they tell you, and most of you do because you assume that since they are teachers, they must be correct.
But do you really believe that the universe is 50 billion years old? Why wouldn't you? Your science teacher said it was, so isn't it?
Research it yourself and you'll be surprised at what u find out...
Here's the point: don't believe everything you hear
83% of statistics are made up on the spot anyway...
Did u get that? Haha just a little humor to lighten things up.
But seriously, if u read that made up statistic and believed it, you have some serious fighting to do for your mind.
Challenge: research something someone or something tells you and decide for yourself what you believe.
You are who you want to be, don't let someone else tell you what that is
